The Biodynamics Centenary Tour

Ueli Hurter’s Tour Down Under

2024 celebrates a centenary of the biodynamic movement.  It has been 100 years since Rudolf Steiner presented the Agriculture Lectures in Europe, which were the start of what became known as Organic and Biodynamic Agriculture. To acknowledge the Centenary, Ueli Hurter from Switzerland, the head of biodynamics globally, is undertaking a speaking tour of Australia in May.

What Biodynamics can offer

As part of the Biodynamics Centenary Tour, Mr Hurter, co-author of Breathing with the Climate Crisis, will be speaking on a range of topics to address current issues such as food security, climate change, farm sustainability, and what Biodynamics can offer for environmental and social sustainability. He states:

“Biodynamics is a holistic, ecological, and ethical approach to farming, gardening, food, and nutrition and offers regenerative solutions for the future. In current times, and particularly after the worlds Covid experience we need to consider the sustainability of our economies. I look forward to sharing thoughts on agriculture, economics and ecology and discussing what can be achieved through collaboration.”

The Biodynamics Centenary Tour kicks off with two events in Melbourne on 7 May, then heads to Hobart, Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide. See poster below for more details or visit our Events calendar
