Archetypal processes in Nature

Nine Nature Moods following the seasonal shifts
between Earth and Cosmos

An Exhibition

The Nine Training Sketches motifs were given to the painters as a new impulse for understanding both Art and Nature, to help the artist explore objective spiritual laws. They are a training for the soul.

You are invited to the opening of the exhibition of works by artist and researcher Fiona Campbell as part of the celebration of the centenary of the founding of a new direction for artists concerned with exploring the interplay of cosmic and earthly laws through painting.

There will be a short talk at 7pm about the works, followed by a lecture on Steiner’s sketches and motifs, particularly his epoch motifs from the ceiling of the first Goetheanum. This lecture is part of the After The Burning program of events being run by the Sydney Branch.

This series was painted during Fiona’s online masterclass (six sessions) earlier this year and owe a debt of gratitude to the participants in the course for their dedication and inspiration.

Location

The exhibition opens at 6pm Tuesday 18 October at Rudolf Steiner House, 307 Sussex St, Sydney 2001.
