An invitation to join in a year-long Australia-wide study group & to create a collaborative conference for 2027
Dear Friends,
Both within and around the Anthroposophical Society, this initiative is something that stems from heartfelt conversations and a genuine desire to find ways to intentionally and creatively collaborate with others to build bodies of knowledge. To reiterate: this is an invitation to a year-long Australia-wide study group [September 2026 – September 2027] and the creation of a new, collaborative form of conference [October long weekend 2027].
We believe this theme, Isis Sophia, is highly relevant to our time, in a ‘right now’ sense and not a theme that has been worked on a lot in recent times. This theme can take us into the Grail mystery, into Ancient Egyptian and Greek mysteries; it can take us into Cosmosophy; the Mystery Dramas; the relationship between Sophia and our emerging consciousness soul; the Trinity; the mystery of the Birth of Jesu through Maria Sophia; the Crucifixion and Mystery of Golgotha; the Apocalypse of John; the interrelationship of Divine Sophia and the Holy Spirit; Cosmic Christianity, our responsibility to the Divine Sophia, and our part in the ‘creation’ of Anthroposophia … and these suggestions are only a beginning.
We could work together on this theme through:
- Individual and/or collaborative thematic research
- Creative arts, performances and exhibitions
- Poetry, creative writing, fictocriticism, essays
- Prepared conversations
- Talks and presentations
We could meet in person, where possible, and zoom to include all interested, at regular intervals and share what we are discovering, finding challenging, and perhaps need more insight from people in specific fields [medicine, arts, technology, science etc.].
We could create a collaborative conference for 2027 where we individually or in groups present, demonstrate and engage one another in the exploration and development of our work of the past year.
We could form this conference organically out of the insight and questions we have developed through the work we have carried as a body of human beings longing to gain a living perception of Isis Sophia.
