DESCRIPTION: … Like to a God he is become\,  \nKnowledge he has of evil and good\,  \nHe can lift up his hand on high\,  \nWhereby he liveth eternally.  \n  \nThe Oberufer Paradise Play portrays creation and ‘the fall’ together with the spiritual forces that lie behind the events we see acted out on the stage. It prepares us to celebrate the birth of Christ and is the first of the Oberufer plays which were collected by Karl Julius Schroer\, one of Rudolf Steiner’s teachers. They were passed on by oral tradition from a community living on the island of Oberufer on the Danube. The three plays represent a unique survival of the medieval mystery play tradition \nThe Oberufer Paradise Play will be performed followed by an address\, carol singing and breakfast. Please bring a plate to share for breakfast.  \nFor more information  \nPlease contact Maria Garrido \nPlease note: the Paradise play is not suitable for children under 9 years old.
