SUMMARY:Research as a path of professional and spiritual development
DESCRIPTION:‘Research as a path of professional and spiritual development’ – a talk with Fiona Campbell \nAnthroposophy in action \nRudolf Steiner was first and foremost a researcher who saw any limits to knowledge as a challenge for inner growth. But he frequently urged his listeners to conduct their own research\, not just follow his. One of the tasks of the School of Spiritual Science is research within the different professions but you don’t have to belong to the School to do research. So if I want to research my professional or personal practice\, how do I go about it? Are my experiences valid? And what actually is research? \nIn this presentation\, Fiona Campbell discusses the increasingly critical need for research in the Anthroposophical movement and how to go about it. \nBut first\, the path to becoming a spiritual investigator begins with understanding what is means to be a researcher. Dr. Fiona Campbell has been teaching interdisciplinary research skills and researcher development for 10 years and anthroposophical studies for 25 years. She specialises in learning and teaching development\, drawing on her visual arts training\, social science degrees and adult education expertise.
