SUMMARY:The Twelve Days of Christmas – Holy Nights Contemplations
DESCRIPTION:The Festival of Christmas as the Renewal of the Faculty of Memory \nand\n The Inner Structure of the Cycle of the Year Reflected in the Twelve Days of Christmas\nPresenter: Martin Samson \n  \nThis online event will be presented as a contemplation with conversational deepening.  \nIn each session there will be a half-hour consideration of the two themes\, which complement each other and set a mood of soul for participants to work with over the ensuing night and day. The final minutes of the session will be for any further considerations and nuances that will help grow the work over the Christmas season in preparation for the coming year. The hope is that each day will have the nurturing aspect of a retreat for resetting our soul for the work in the coming year. \nRegistration details \nRegister here \nRecommended donation $50 \nOnce registered\, you will be sent the Zoom link two (2) days beforehand. Be sure to enter the event via this Zoom link\, not via Eventbrite. \nThe session will start exactly five (5) minutes past 7pm (7.05pm)AEDT and it is recommended that you join the link a few minutes early. DESCRIPTION:Universal Beauty has the power to transform\nPresenters: Johannes and Sue Schuster \nAn online seminar over 3 alternate weekends \n  \nGreat works of art have the ability to affect us on such a deep level that we may suddenly experience tears of joy or even speechlessness. Great works of art all share a quality of timelessness which transcends their Age\, with an ability not just to awaken\, but with a  power to transform us. It seems that when such works of art touch on the good\, the true and the beautiful\, that they have ‘Universal Beauty.’ \nThis seminar explores the nature of Universal Beauty in connection with Nature’s language of form\, through the form signatures of the four elements\, the four ethers and the four connected physical forces. Together these form four polarities\, which Ernst Marti identified as Nature’s World Formula [1]  This ‘world formula’ gives us a profound insight as to how spirit connects with matter\, which is the key question for Transformative Art & Architecture. \nProgram \nOver three alternating weekends\, we will explore the question of how physical matter can be raised through art\, to resonate on a higher etheric level\, by employing the same vital life principles which nature uses. SUMMARY:St John's Gospel monthly study group
DESCRIPTION:Facilitator: Martin Samson \nWorking with contemplative phenomenology on the Gospel of John\, this ongoing study group will explore an anthroposophical path to awakening the soul and spiritual senses. There will be opportunities for discussion\, guidance\, and questions around meditation and living a spiritual year. \nThis study builds on the The Twelve Days of Christmas – Holy Nights Contemplations led by Martin Samson over Christmastide to Epiphany in 2021-22 and isa prototype for five months to see if it works for everyone involved. After the May evening\, it will review to assess its continuation. \nProgram \n\n\nUnderstanding methods of Contemplative Phenomenology.\nWorking with Rudolf Steiner’s approach to the Gospels\, starting with the Gospel of John as an esoteric initiation text.\nUnderstanding meditation from an anthroposophical approach and living with the spiritual cycle of the year.\n\n\nThere is likely to be ongoing work to do between meetings.
