SUMMARY:The Twelve Days of Christmas – Holy Nights Contemplations
DESCRIPTION:The Festival of Christmas as the Renewal of the Faculty of Memory \nand\n The Inner Structure of the Cycle of the Year Reflected in the Twelve Days of Christmas\nPresenter: Martin Samson \n  \nThis online event will be presented as a contemplation with conversational deepening.  \nIn each session there will be a half-hour consideration of the two themes\, which complement each other and set a mood of soul for participants to work with over the ensuing night and day. The final minutes of the session will be for any further considerations and nuances that will help grow the work over the Christmas season in preparation for the coming year. The hope is that each day will have the nurturing aspect of a retreat for resetting our soul for the work in the coming year. \nRegistration details \nRegister here \nRecommended donation $50 \nOnce registered\, you will be sent the Zoom link two (2) days beforehand. Be sure to enter the event via this Zoom link\, not via Eventbrite. \nThe session will start exactly five (5) minutes past 7pm (7.05pm)AEDT and it is recommended that you join the link a few minutes early. The link will be open 5 minutes before 7.00pm. \nIf there is enough interest there will also be an event at Epiphany on 6th January\, to bring the process to completion. \nRecommended reading \n The section on Christmas in Sergei O Prokofieff’s book The Cycle of the Year.  \nFor those who cannot attend  \nThe contemplations will be recorded for people who have registered but can’t participate in person.
