DESCRIPTION:Inner Work provides a gateway to self-discovery and personal insight for parents and teachers dedicated to supporting the harmonization of a child’s individuality. \n\n\n\n\nThis mission requires a deeper understanding of self for the practitioner whose duty involves such a lofty goal. It requires a bridge to be built between insight and application in the art of educational methods that address the needs of a growing human being in a healthy way. \n\nThe over-emphasis of the intellect over our sensory nature is one of the challenges of modern education\, but by grounding our practice in our sensory wisdom\, contemplation\, and artistic reflection we can find a deeper understanding of our role as teachers and parents in the development of our communities’ children. The development of the intellect is grounded in the imagination\, but to reach this hallowed ground we must embark on a pilgrimage of inner work. \nOn this inner-work journey\, Dr. Lakshmi Prasanna provides a pathway of discovery towards a new art of education. A pathway where the very soul and spirit of all practitioners are nurtured\, stretched\, and celebrated as we move forward together for the sake of our world’s children. \n\n\n\n\n\nHow to Participate \nThis journey will begin over five consecutive days for 90 minutes per day.
